I was contemplating the best way to present the two forms of this Queen Anne's Lace when the wind obligingly gusted the two together and they stuck for a mere moment which happily was enough for me to capture it.

Finches are very fond of thistle seeds and this little guy was chowing down. It seemed like he was sitting amidst a veritable delicatessen of thistle seeds and blackberries.

A glorious morning and the falls were moving right along. A very serene and pleasant place to spend the morning.

Falls Mill
A restored mill in Belvidere, TN it produces flour, meal, and grits. Family owned and operated they have a museum of antique machinery and a bed and breakfast.
